Commercial fuel

Fuel quality across a longer supply chain.

The questions to ask at sourcing, storage and handover.

Read the guide

Start with a specification

Give the supplier the required fuel grade and intended application. Agree which quality records will accompany the batch and who will review them at receipt.

Document each handover

Keep the order, loading details, cargo-seal records and delivery note together. Clear records help teams investigate discrepancies without relying on memory.

Plan a qualified storage review

Ask a competent technical team to review your storage condition, inspection schedule and sampling arrangements. Product suitability and treatment decisions need qualified advice.

Fleet planning

Build a useful fuel-consumption baseline.

Make your fleet records a better starting point for supply planning.

Compare like with like

Record fuel purchases, distance, load and route by vehicle. Comparing a loaded long-haul trip with a short urban trip can hide the real drivers of consumption.

Review the operating pattern

Bring idling records, maintenance history, loading patterns and delivery schedules into the discussion with your fleet team. Agree any operating changes with qualified personnel.

Measure before promising savings

Set a baseline and compare similar periods after a change. Use verified operating records and comparable routes when reviewing performance.

LPG & households

Everyday LPG safety starts with the basics.

A short introduction to the Kenyan regulator’s consumer guidance.

Choose a genuine supplier

Use a genuine gas supplier. Check the cylinder valve and seal, and ask for a demonstration if you are unsure how to use the product.

Store with care

Keep the cylinder upright in a ventilated place, away from direct sun and clear of exits. Handle it carefully.

Use it attentively

Check that the hose, regulator and burner fit correctly. Do not leave a burner unattended, and turn it off after use. Follow the full supplier and regulator instructions.

Commercial fuel

Prepare a better bulk-supply enquiry.

Help the commercial team understand your operation from the first conversation.

Read the guide

Describe the requirement

Prepare the product specification, approximate volume, expected frequency and first required delivery date. Include the delivery town and country.

Explain the receiving site

Identify your receiving contact, access restrictions, storage arrangements and any site-specific requirements. Technical suitability should be reviewed by qualified personnel.

Agree the scope

Ask about availability, documentation, lead times, pricing terms and the process for handling changes. Website information or a demonstration is not a supply agreement.
